A nice walk...

I had a nice walk the other from the church building to the basement....really only 10 minutes...slow....but I found some cool stuff....

Some pomegranates....mmm^^ good stuff....Italians grow these very often...

I found another vineyard...just a small one...maybe like 2 vines, just along the wall of a house...

This one was a red grape vine, got some good pics...

my fav....

It was a good walk....just spending time with Jesus...it was really weird too....because I could smell everything....like i could smell roses, i smelled some strawberries (but i didnt know where they were^^), and like some lavender plants....it was like my senses were heightened briefly...i have never enjoyed smelling stuff on a walk before....nice...

mmm...Squash Risotto...

Wow...this...I have to say....was an amazing lunch!

We made a pumpkin/squash risotto (rice dish)...mmm....really easy too...but precut squash, boil it for about an hour and a half, then slightly saute some zucchini and onions, add rice, add the boiled pumpkin, add a bullion cube to the pumpkin water....slowly add water and mix into the bowl.....mmmm.....

David is an amazing cook....thanks Dave! Oh yeh.....key to this dish is the parmesan...see the big chunk? yes...key.....mmm

Sunday Lunch...

Well a nice family invited us over after church on Sunday....which is nice to not have to cook lol

Its kinda cool...because Italian culture makes nice big lunches on Sundays, and then you just chill after, take naps....cant remember the last time I have done that on a Sunday...lol Not that serving the Lord is burdensome, I wouldnt go that far....

Their house was close to the town of Asolo, which I have pictures of from an earlier post...you can see it up on top of the hill there...

Missed taking pictures from before....oops....but I didnt miss dessert....bwahhaa...Italian tiramisu....drool city.....oh my goodness....this was sin...pray for me....^^

We killed this guy....lol

This is Mario and Anna...they are not actually Italian, they are from Argentina...they speak great Italian and make really good Italian food....Anna made us some spaghetti and a little appetizer of Russian salad (potato salad), bread with spread, and olives...mmm Thanks guys!

After chowing out...we just spent time worshiping the Lord. Can you tell which song this is? ^^ Abuelo from Korea got it last time...who will get it...lol

It was good just worshiping Jesus....i felt so refreshed after...good times

CC Montebelluna's Children's books...

Random....but i like this book....can you tell why? lol

Youth Group Meeting

Well the Calvary Chapel Montebelluna church Youth group has been off for summer break, so this was the first meeting together since. David, Kyle, and I cleaned the house and had everyone come over. It was cool...just a lot of fellowship, time in the Word, good eating, and fun games.

oh yeh and we went to the store and got some candy....mmm....

Dave teaching the Word...he rocks the Italian juice....^^

Good time spending time with the youth....hopefully one day I can speak full Italian to them and share in the Word too....it was cool though....David translated my testimony, and then about being in Japan and Korea....they were interested and asking me to play some Nihongerz juice...i played a few...^^

Santa Maria in Colle (in the Hills)...

This is the beautiful church that has the bells going off different times in the day....its called Santa Maria in the hills (in colle)....i like this pic...sweeto...

Well we went up to finally get some pictures in the daytime, and then we saw that there was a wedding....but we were dressed OK....so we went into the courtyard and stuff without people asking us questions and stuff....lol

the front of the main sanctuary...

a good view of the town from the back of the church....i like the steps up to the gates...

on the road outside the church grounds...the walls are beautiful...but the clock/bell tower is so cool with all its thousands of bricks...

The outside of the sanctuary....

hehe...what i say is that "OK....I just snuck into an Italian wedding..." lol...Good luck to the Bride and Groom....lol

It was chill, I just wanted to take a video of inside the church....and it was even better, because there was good music, and it was all looking nice...

Strolling through the vineyards....

I wanted to really get pictures...because lately i have been seeing them harvesting the grapes...i had to hurry....

I think that they went through already...but i found some....mmm....i love white grapes....

me and my grapes....mmm

I just had to get pictures of this....so awesome...good times in Italy...

Bible College Devotions...

We have devotions on Tuesday through Friday....and it is always a good time to get together with each and worship, and seek the Lord together. It was really cool...I have gotten to lead worship twice now...oh and the leader, Bryan asked me if I could lead every Tuesday morning....sweet deal huh....^^

...City Hall Fireworks...

I just like this building in the town...its City Hall...i want to take the flag that is there.....lol
A lot of things have been taking place around the city hall building...good times....

They finished off all the recent events with a big firework display in the park....i just wish they didnt do it at 11pm when I was already sleeping.....ugh....^^ Oh Italy.....

Market Wednesdays...

Every Wednesday in Montebelluna there is an open market....most stores are shut down, and everyone is out on the streets getting their goods....

There are tents everywhere....^^ Clothes....shoes....kitchen supplies....outdoor equipment....

....but my favorite...the cheese and meat stands....mmm....

well actually....my favorite is the fresh fruit stand....i actually bought stuff from these...I got these white grapes...and I also bought some pears for me and my roommates...mmm^^

Well i went to go study at our coffeeshop with David....and all our friends from the Bible College stopped by....so i pulled out the grapes and we had a little snack...notice there is 2 more grapes....lol

This is Francesco...our normal coffee guy at Caffe Corona....he just got saved this summer...David got to lead him to the Lord after many years of witnessing...but our brother is going through hard times, pray that he would look to God and trust in Him while he continues to grow.

Possagno....

This is the city of Possagno....a very famous person designed this cities buildings...really cool...

looks like something in Washington D.C....but then again D.C. would have stolen the ideas from these guys....lol

after this picture....we raced up the steps...lol

nice view from the top.....me catching my breath from the run up the stairs...lol ^^

Asolo...ahhh

The is the road up to Asolo....you can see the castle on top of the hill...so beautiful...i really like the stone walls...

As we entered the city....

This is us driving down the sweet little road....This was the day of many "CHOWWWWs"...we were talking about Pastor Tommy from Okinawa, who would always say chow...niiiice...

This is right before the beginning of the city....

And this is in the middle of the city...nice church....overlooking the valley...
beautiful fountain....
They had a little art building, and this was in front of it....i have always loved the cello...sweet art
I love this corner house...i would love to live there...
typical caffe in italy...

nice pose David...

we got some sweet gelato just to relax...we walked around town and ate it...mmm...

The nice entrance into the city...

They had a fresh water fountain right along the path...you dont reach for the water in the bowl, but what is coming out of the lions mouth...just a hint...^^
My tongue after eating the blueberry gelato...nice huh?
on top of the city...there was a caffe and a museum...

Such a great time in Asolo....
