Busan Day 3

Our last day was just an easy mall visit to Shinsaegae mall again (biggest mall in the world) just for looking around and eat lunch ;)

Interesting picture of the day: these little breads look like little animals ;) so cool ...POP QUIZ...what does this "IPOTD" (Interesting picture of the day" have in common with yesterday's?!

Chillin ;)

Went back for some pics at the CGV theatre ;)

Last snack before leaving...green tea ice cream crepe ;) tasty!

On towards home! It was almost 4 hours cuz of some traffic going home but still good...I was so tired and Nayeon got to sleep :/ envy! Need a vacation for my vacation!

Check this out! Just totally tripped me out, because I was just having a conversation about the "mark" and signs of the end times with our friend Kathleen...and then I see this homeboys tat of a barcode :• tried to get a pic without him noticing :P interesting huh? Just imagine the branding people will receive (like cows) just to purchase simple groceries...glad I won't b there! Maranatha! Come soon Lord! Friends, tell someone about God's love today, plant seeds... that might change someone's eternity ;)

Overall, an amazing vacation!
It's good to finally travel Korea and not worry about staying somewhere overnight or staying out too late ;) thank you Lord for this opportunity, glory to You!

Seoul "business trip"

Well I have a vacation this week, so its time to bust out some important marriage paperwork that I have to get settled...all the way in Seoul...praying I don't get anything wrong because I can't make the trip very easily ;( a good two hours drive, sometimes 3 with traffic... there was so much paperwork to do for this trip...we had to go and get our marriage certificate from the district office, fax it to a notary that could translate it to English go there, get it sealed and notarized, then take it to the embassy and get that notarized....and all this so I can get a family visa here in Korea! That's a whole new set of waiting and paperwork! But honestly I'm grateful because it would be harder and more expensive to do it in America so I'm happy.

I was blessed though because Pastor Mike drove me up, along with Jesse and our philippino buddy, Mitzel ;)(he's sleeping)...I gotta do all this running around, and they are waiting for me to finish so we can get to the real reason for the trip...Taco Bell run! lol

On the bridge crossing over into downtown Seoul...can u see Namsan tower on the mountain there?!

Famous Insa Dong ...really great shopping place and restaurant area ;) there was a big line for something but I'm not sure what ;)

Right outside the American embassy there is this great statue...in the background you can see the Korean Blue house (White House equivalent)...had some time to kill so I took some pics...

So the whole trip was finished with a signed and really expensive embossed piece of paper...$50 bucks! :/ booo! Oh but I felt a little bit better having some Taco Bell after ;) brought some hard tacos home too for the fridge so I can have some later and give some to the wife too! Great day...praise the Lord

Nayeons friend

Nayeons friend is getting married and they had some time in the studio to have some pictures ;) just like our wedding, Koreans normally take their pictures before the wedding. She had a fun time ;)

Fresh Start CC Daejeon retreat

After my retreat with my school, our church had their retreat! lol a little bit sore from the kids and playing around so much, but ready to serve the Lord again! He always gives us the strength to serve Him ;)

Here was the Bible scripture I got to teach from...what a blessing! It is always great to study and serve up a hot plate of the Lord's Word for His people.

Playing the human pretzel game with my team ;) we had a running competition with everyone...great fellowship time ;)

Not many pictures (actually this is it! So busy!) but this was a great one ;) we had a lot of people not show that had signed up, but God spoke to those that did come ^^ please pray for the people in our fellowship, God is slowly raising them up in His ways.

SOT retreat

So I had two back to back retreats that I went on...here are some pictures from the trip I went with my school ;)

Crazy lil thing just posed for me and didn't move ^^

Sunday Night Worship

Now that Jesse is here we have been switching back in forth in leading worship, I lead night he leads morning, like that. This weekend I had night service and it was a blessing to worship with our congregation. We have a great team now...Gen and Andrew and really blessed in lead others in worship. If you'd like to here some worship, you can go to ccdaejeon.com and go to the teachings tab, and click on a worship recording ;)

My wife and I wore matching white clothes, ;) she likes to do that...a lot actually :/ lol whatever makes her happy ^^ we were telling people "the Lord cleansed me!" But with joking aside, one day we will stand before Jesus, in robes whiter than anything on this earth, and be worshiping Jesus! Chow! Praise Him!

Mud festival!

One of the closer beaches to our home is Daecheon (Not Daejeon like our city name) beach, and they have a festival in that area every year! And it is a mud festival ! It's crazy fun ;) here are some pics ;)

One bad thing about te festival that is hard to get around is the American people who were partying and getting really drunk ;/ I hated exposing Nayeon to our bad culture ...having foreigners come and stain our country's reputation with crazy drinking behavior makes it difficult to minister the love of Christ to the people. Pray that opportunities to teach others wouldn't be hindered by those who don't know Him! But God is good, and will make a chance to share His goodness!

Nayeon and I got to share our 2nd year together here at this place though ( look back to previous post "Anniversary"). Had some chicken, went on some bouncy slides and stuff, buried each other in the sand, swam in the ocean, fun fun fun! What a great time with my wife ^^

Deuteronomy 6:24-25

"And the Lord commanded us to observe all these statutes, to fear the Lord our God, for our good always, that He might preserve us alive, as it is this day. Then it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to observe all these commandments before the Lord our God, as He has commanded us."(Deuteronomy 6:24-25 NKJV)

I was really blessed by athis today. I needed to be reminded of this, that as I live my life day by day, I need to keep God's Word, trust in it, do it. God will do good always (Rom 8:28), that's His amazing promise. It comes through belief though, simple trust in Him. Then comes (v.8) the righteousness! Oh thanks Lord! I want to be like Him. :)

Just a mini devo for ya, hoping u are blessed too ;)
