Crystal and Sophie...

Well...this is Crystal....on the left.....and Sophie on the right...they have been coming to the Bible studies and MELT classes for the past two months we have been here....

Well we went out for lunch one day....because these girls are going to Africa to study English....wow huh? Crystal is heading to Cape Town and Sophie to Johannesburg (whoa...spelled it right the first time....without cheating)...they will each be there for about 10 months...soo exciting...

Well I dont know why they actually did, but they wanted to take us out and cover lunch, but we let them...it was pretty good, pretty much just chicken and rice and their famous red pepper sauce mixed and pan fried....really good....

Afterwards...we went and bought them some ice creams, then as we were walking around the park by our house, we prayed for them, and then just said bye bye! We all had to go do important stuffs...

I had to go back to Mike's house, so as I am waiting for the bus I see Crystal across the street....lol stupid video...but i dont know....this reminds me of the great skill that my mother taught me when I was a child....saying goodbye (in my case "goodnight") literally like 10 times...lol just for you mom....

We WILL miss you girls, God bless you and your travels to Africa, and the ministry that God will give you out there to accomplish....trust in Him!

im excited....i really like cherry blossoms...and the little burst heat that we had here i think brought out some buds waiting for some sun and warmth....but the festivals and season is still on its way....ill get more when we go.....aight....peace

Oh Sunday we were driving to CC Cheonan...and usually we listen to Psalty (kind of like an old school Veggietales) when Jeena is in the car....i already know all the songs by heart...lol

its is funny....Jeena has started this thing where she lays on the floor of the car, and closes her eyes, but then lips the words to the songs...soo funny.

Well anyways...off topic...this blog is about Jeena using my camera to take a bunch of pictures and then a video....

I was just walking down the street and saw this guy....remembered i was wearin my snazzy glasses too...maybe that is a bible he is readin....lol

Mike teaching at Presbyterian church...

Mike took me with him this week to the Presbyterian church he teaches at on Sunday, after the CC Cheonan English service....this Bible study is for mostly middle school and high school students studying English...worship is done in all English....

They did All in All....loved it! oh yeh....caught Mike yawnin....lol....

Mike teaches them through the book of Acts...great study...

Well this isnt my first time coming here....but they always do something for newcomers...they invite them up and ask you to introduce yourself, and then they sing a song in Korean kind of Praising the Lord for you coming, and they like recieve you into their church...kinda sweet...and then they gave me a lil gift....new pens...yata! Guess they want me to study more...

Hye-Young's Niece/Nephews and lil friends...

Well on Tuesday we went over to Hye-Young's brothers house...we hang out with the kids and help them with their English....and then play games.....and then eat their snacks....mmm...lol

Here is cute lil Isabella....soooo weird because she is the most shy....but definitely photogenic....

Its been cool....lil Jeena has grown one more step....shes in daycare/preschool now....Mike and Hye-Young take her to another apartment building right across the way, and they have a daycare for the munchkins....its really great because she doesnt seem to mind much....hasnt really caused any fuss, which is relieving for Mike...but he misses her in the day...lol look at that punum...such a great smile...

Well I caught her being all tired from playin all day...she crashed out on mommy and daddy's bed....lol

Check this out....a new survey on CNN shows the numbers on Christianity in America....its not very shocking, because I think that it is actually less....continue to pray for our country....

Saturday Foundations Class/Brunch....

I got a break from worship and started a new Bible study on Saturdays....we asked our brother from California, John, to play us some worship...it was a blessing...

We gather together first at 9am or so, and do worship as a group....but then we split it up into two groups....men and women....I teach the men foundations or like a new believers course, while Mike's wife Hye-Young teaches through the book of Philippians...

Afterwards, we head over to Mike's house for brunch together....this week we cooked some mexican style eggs and some country fried potatoes with cheese....mmm

here is our new believer friend...Joseph....I'm so blessed he came since he just got saved, continue to pray God would disciple him and use him mightly!

This brada's name is Praise....lol funny huh....his korean name means praise, so that is why he chose that for his English name also....here he is preppin the onions, bell peppers and such...

Meet Jeff and Simon

On Thursday night, around 6pm I leave near the end of Sosimo's Bible study in Genesis to help Jinsoo's nephews english skills....Jeff on the left....and Simon on the right....

we have alot of fun....they are new to learning English...but their parents just really want them to hear it from an American....so we play games along side with a basic book...

This week they brought out some strawberries and pepsi....mmm.....for some reason strawberries are in season right now....every though it is freezing....i remember strawberries in California ripening around july or august....but they are great!

When we got home....we didnt want to go out for dinner...so we got some food at the store...some 만 두 (mandu/or dumplings) and then some 김밮 (kimbop/sushi rolls) and we were set....mmm....

Itaewon...

Itaewon is a very famous and also great place for foreigners all around the world to shop for some great stuff....its my second time being here....i really like it...

I dont know why....but i didnt take many pictures while we were here....but we shopped around....there were some swat meet style places, outlet stores, and also expensive designer stores....you know where we went....lol

Well we also found my favorite ice cream parlor....one I used to work at....COLD STONE!!

mmm....I had my favorite ice cream....cake batter ice cream....with black cherries, pound cake, and honey.....mmmm

It was surprising how much cheaper it was than in America....praise the Lord! oh and they did sing the songs....but i didnt get that on video....

Mexican lunch!

Well when we got to Seoul, there was a sign for a Mexican restaurant....so we decided to try it out....there is no mexican food in Daejeon at all...

Wow they had a great spread....i got tacos....with pork....

Mike is a happy camper....hasnt had Mexican in a while....he got a taco salad....sosi got a burrito....it was awesome....after we all had a tortilla soup....

Praise the Lord for great food...mmm

Train/Subway trip to Seoul....

Well we had to take some different types of transportation on our trip to Seoul....first the subway to the main train station....



Well when we got to the train station....mike got some tickets on the bullet train....sweet....normally it takes 3 hours by car, but only an hour by bullet train, only two stops...

Snowed again....

On Tuesday we had some snow again....we were on our way to Seoul, the capital, to shop and check out the city....so sweet i love snow! It snowed at night and covered the ground, but by morning it had warmed up and it was still falling, but melting as it hit the ground.
