Sunday night...

We had alot of new people on Friday at the Jinsoo Bible Study, so we got to invite them all to the Sunday night....here they all are...

lots of new cool people....

Mike taught us through Acts 5:17-42....great time in the Word....oh and this week was the first week with me leading, but having Grace play the piano, and Roony playing the flute.....I was skeptical, because I didnt know their talents, but it was really awesome they did great. God truly blessed me with people that love to worship Him.

Sunday morning...

I got this really cute picture.....oh and Jeena is in it too! lol jk
Jeena is finally warming up to Sosi and I, I've gotten a hug, and sometimes she holds my finger when we are walking, and when she see me she says "Hi Buddy." She is so adorable.

Stuff we did this week...

Well I have been to Costco now in three different countries....USA, Japan and now Korea....its all the same pretty much, just korean foods in bulk are there. But they still sell alot of American products....its awesome, had a big lunch with the guys...we were shopping for a new keyboard for the church.

as we were shopping around for the piano, we saw this place....they sell budaechigae...or the famous "Army soup"....havent had it yet....but the guy on the picture looks funny....

actually kind of close up it looks like a pastor I know.......its like it is saying "HELLO.....my name is PASTA TOMMMMYY!!!" lol it looks like tommy, every time we pass one we always say, "hey tommy!".....we've even gotten Mike to say it....lol

On friday night after Jinsoo Bible Study.....we had a fun night of eating at Burger King, getting some ice cream (yeh.....that happens about every night....lol), going to sing some noreabong (Kareoke.....pictured below....that is Peter singing....he was good), and then taking sticker pictures and batting cages....funnnnn week!

Day in Cheonan with KSOM guys...

So the other day, we went to KSOM for its intro and orientation for the new semester starting. I think that they have about 4 students that are going through (there may be more, it was the second day of orientation...) Here is a pic of all the leadership.....Mike, Peter, Joshua, Sam, Victor, John, Cobb, and Caleb.....

Well maybe this is the only people.....but this is the whole group that was here on orientation day....

After we finished, we went to lunch at a Korean restaurant under Joshua's (a newly ordained Pastor) Calvary Chapel. His church is called Love Church, Calvary Chapel Love....so funny. Mike was telling me that Koreans pick funny names for churches!

all the boyz....

we had a meal called 왕 갈 비 탕 or galbi tang....galbi means rib, and tang means....umm....hot soup? i forget.....but it is the bomb.....think it is my favorite.....mmmm......so much meat and a good onion broth, it even came with horseradish sauce to dip the meat in....reminded me of a prime rib steak! it was that good....

these were all my bones..... nahhhhhhh jk lol
we each got 4 each....mmm.....

the group hangin out in Joshua's (to the left of Sosimo) church upstairs afterwards....

good day with the KSOM guys....

Interesting news...

I was just looking around on CNN and saw this article.

http://us.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/asiapcf/02/05/suicide.for.liver/index.html

I was shocked, when I saw that this girl was only 13. There are people going through real struggles in this life that we are given, and many without a hope in the world.

This reminds me of John 15: 12-14.

God loves us so much, He demonstrated the "greatest act of love", by being a friend and dying for us, taking our shame and sin.

Do not waste this life, share this truth with someone.

mmm.....spaghetti...jeena with those sweet shades....

mmm....kimchi, dried red peppered squid, quail eggs, garlic chips, and spaghetti....perfect!

Da bus....

Well as we were shopping around.....Mike told us he was tired of picking us up....lol jk....
We'll be needing to take the bus, so we got a $25 card for the bus (bus usually only a dollar one way....for as long as you want to go), and went out on a joy ride, trying to figure out which buses we needed to take...lots of pictures, not alot to say....

Bus 106 is what we thought we needed....waited.....went the other way....oops...

just chillin...

figured out we needed the 104 bus....its cool because they come every 10 minutes or so...

Take a close look at this one.....map of our area....very close....
So we ride all the way to Mike's House.....and get on another one, just to get back to our house and Mike's car.....buh bump bum bump......bus stops.....i look back and see this in the road....

Homeboy dropped somethin out of his bus.....lol....we think it might have been the drive shaft...

about 10 minutes later, we found another 106 bus to take us home....fun fun fun....

HomePlus....

Well Mike has been taking us out to a big mall/jcpenny kind of store, to get things that we need like hangars, toothpaste, cereal, etc....

I noticed this sign....my youth group name from Foster Youth....i miss you guys! Praying for all of you! Blessins! lol (for you jon)

So we are looking for pillows.....this is what we see....so funny....

CC Daejeon

This is the back of CC Daejeon, this window is Mike's building.

Well we met at the church today, sat down and prayed about vision for the next couple months here. We want to try to do alot of new things, including midweek studies, a retreat, and some different studies that with help with people learning the foundations of a walk with Jesus. Pray for the work here, and that God would use us crazy people! Glory to God.

We went out for some soup with dumplings in it.....right across from the church...mmm....

CC Daejeon Sunday Night

Well we came back from Cheonan (which is about 40 minutes drive) to Daejeon (the city Mike lives, we live in, and Jinsoo's is) and got prepped for Sunday night service. I got to lead worship for this service....it was weird I was really nervous, not normal, but praise the Lord, it reminded me to lean on His Spirit, not my flesh.

This is the only service that we do for CC Daejeon right now, but Lord willing, Mike wants to start up a midweek soon. Here is the group on our first night...most of the people come from that Jinsoo Friday night bible study....
Just like Friday nights....Mike wants us to hang out with those who come, and even stay later, praying for people if they want....but it was concensus to go out to McDonalds after....most of the group came....it was great. Most of these guys know pretty good English, it was great talking....Grace (she will be helping me with Piano on Sunday nights! YATA!), Jessica, Sosi, Eugene, Me, ? (we are trying to decide his English name....we're thinking Adam, Timmy, or somethin, he is very picky...lol)

Darcy, Mike, Ryan, Roony (he plays the flute, he will be helping on sunday night worship also! YATA!)
Thanks guys for a great night!
