On my way to Italy!

Well I am not in California anymore! My momma took me to the LAX airport on Tuesday, and then I was off! Here is the plan....LA to San Francisco to Frankfurt, Germany to Venice, Italy. Nice...about 24 hours of travel (including all the layovers)....ugh...but i will be in Italy! ^^

Flying over San Francisco...cool...

had lunch in San Francisco...Mediterranean food..pita bread...hummus...vegetable stuff...and little brown things that I forgot the name...oh and a sweet banana walnut muffin...Now on to Germany...

im in Germany! Kinda crazy flight...same amount of time like going to Japan...about 9 hours...just more uncomfortable than I remember...ehh whatever...im in Europe!

Getting off the plane...no gate...just out the back...niceee..

Why thank you Frankfurt for greeting me!

I gave them a $100...this is what i got 55 euros....ugh...its worse what came after this...

so yeh...im thinking in my mind..."Oh! 2.85 euros...thats about $1.50 or something...good price for a Nestea Raspberry/Blueberry tea...ugh....no...." I check on my computer after I bought it....my jaw dropped...i expected to pay a little more at the airport, my drink was $4 bucks.....WHAT!?!?! crazy european exchange rate...our money is stinks here ^^

Well I waited in Germany for about 5 hours, then took off for Venice, my final stop. This is the video of me coming into Venice....nicee...Venice is actually its own little island, so we were just across the way....I like how you can see the church towers and the little water ways cutting through the city...hopefully I'll visit soon!

Coming into the city center of Montebelluna, the place I will live for 3 months...David has an apartment right in the middle of town...really nice...this town is really nice, a little newer than some cities in Italy, but still cool...it has about 35,000 people, hope to share the Gospel in their own language....that would be really sweet...^^
